I'll continue using Thunderbird, but what serious OS X user is seriously needing Outlook over all free forms of clients?

I immediately signed up for Office personal, so that I could get access to the new version of Outlook for Mac. Outlook for Windows is the best mail client that I know of for Windows, and Outlook for Mac is now the best mail client that I know of for Mac (prior versions were _horrible_).

How is support for Google services, especially Calendar? I have read support is completely broken. Or... would you not know, for this use case?

I'm desperately trying to find a good rhythm for email, calendar, and tasks (and notes if possible). That's not to say I ever really had it on Windows (still don't), my organizational skills have been severely lacking. I'm making an effort to fix this, but am having a terrible time.

I just don't want to give up my Google services, but I want desktop apps, not web page services. Google services sync beautifully with my [Android] phone and, really, I'm happy enough with the Apple Calendar implementation on 10.10 for that... it's just not enough.

No idea. I don't use Google services with Outlook. Sorry.

I suppose I could try, this weekend, and see what happens.
