Microsoft Outlook XP - Text prints sideways

Co-worker is receiving email from someone (it is in plain text not HTML) and whenever she tries to print it, it prints the text sideways. Makes it an unreadable mess. Is this a problem on her machine? This only happens when she receives emails from a perticular person. Anyway to fix this?
 
what email program? outlook or web based like yahoo/hotmail/gmail? if web based, what browser? you sure it's not html?

what happens if she cuts and pastes into word? has she tried another printer? has she forwarded the email to another computer or logged in another computer to see if it prints incorrectly on another system?
