Sure, just goto Tools - Options

Click on the Other tab, then click Advanced Options. In the first field there, click Browse, then select what inbox you want Outlook to start in on new instances.

I'd forgotten that's there... perhaps that doesn't work with some connectors? hrmmmm.

Nope, it supports any connector you have. And definitely supports IMAP protocol folders for startup.

Yeah, I know it supports IMAP... I've been using it for that. I'm wondering about MDaemon's Outlook Connector... I know I've had some really stupid issues w/ Outlook while running that connector.

Updated with new question...

I have my Gmail account set up with several different tags and messages get sorted as they arrive. I can delete them from the tagged folder they are in or from the inbox, but when I go to "All Mail" they are still there laughing at me. When I delete them from Gmail in the browser they go to trash, but when I try and delete them from Outlook it puts a line through them for a bit and then nothing happens.

I looked it up and all I see is "PURGE, PURGE, PURGE...and then purge again" but I purge and nothing happens. Help?

Ridiculous! A single e-mail might take up more than your storage space. They should increase that by a factor of 100-1000.
