Microsoft Outlook: Duplicate Emails when using POP

I have my microsoft outlook set up with 6 different email accounts. The only way I could find to send these emails to separate folders was through the Tools->Organize menu, and that takes items that are sent to the main inbox and disperses them to the correct box.

however, if i have an email that is sent to all 6 of my emails, (all the emails are part of the To🙂, it sends 5 copies of each email to each box.

I have heard of outlook causing duplicates and what not, anyone got a clue on how to fix it?

does the same thing for me except i have IMAP. I would have 2 emails in my local inbox, but if i go check my main account off the mail server I would only see one instance of that particular email.

It doesnt always happen though, which is why I find it odd.
