Microsoft Outlook 2003 problem

I saved my .pst file from my previous format. I removed it from the DVD it was on by copying and pasting. Now when I try to re-load it into Outlook 2003 it tells me the .pst is not a valid personal storage file. Any ideas?
 
I think I know what may have happend. I closed the program before it could back itself up. Damn I'm kinda effed now. Well not really but it did have many important e-mails. Damn this sucks.
