Microsoft optical mouse version #?

I'm hearing a lot of people say that there is a new microsoft optical mouse version 3.0 that is significantly better tracking wise for games, does anyone know how I can determine which version my mouse is or have any information on this?

Look on the buttom on the mouse. No version number means you have version 1.0. Version 2.0 have the newer LED that supposedly tracks "33% faster." Version 3.0 is the "33% faster" one with the new design.
