Microsoft One Care 2.0 beta has started

I got the invite via e-mail stating that OneCare beta 2 has begun. I plan to install it when I get home. My OneCare subscription just expired too lol. What great timing. Anyone install it yet? Any improvements?

The number one thing I'd like to see is the find rate. They have a horrendous find rate.

Agreed, that is what they need to work on. I am currently playing around with the beta version of Norton Antivirus 2008. From what I have heard, it was a code rewrite to improve efficiency. In task manager it only has 3 processes going using a combined total of around 5mb of memory when not scanning (but with realtime protection going).


At least Microsoft has it working in 64-bit windows now (with the OneCare 2.0 Beta)
