Microsoft Office XP fubared 2 systems! Outlook doenst sync with Palm anymore, thumbnails for pics dont work anymore! MS released CRAP! XP is the worse POS since dos 4.0! 🙂 Just thought id let you guys know.
 
Sounds very strange Oyeve... 😕 I have always been pleased with Microsoft Office products after release... so your really think this Office XP is a buggy piece of crap?
 
I find it as good and as stable as Office 2K but I hate that anoying script debugger that appears when IE loads a page with errors. Thumbnail picks still work for me.

Man, they're shipping that now with OfficeXP? I *hated* it in visual studio, turned it off at first chance. I never did get it completly off my laptop, uninstalled Vis Studio before I figured out how to disable it. Some pages have errors that would otherwise work just fine, but with that damn debugger, they give me fits.
 
XP didn't break my Palm - maybe the problem isn't Office... hmmm?

On another note, I find Outlook 2002 to be quite slow compared to 2000.

The activation was cracked for both OfficeXP and WindowsXP over a month ago.

Hehe, was going to try and recall it from memory, but I can't w.o a pc with Vis. Studio on it in front of me. I can't seem to find the whitepaper on MS's site, so here goes.

It's in visual InterDev, under options, in the settings for the Debugger. Uncheck &quot;intergrate with applications&quot; or something similar.
 
I'm running Office XP and haven't had ANY problems. I'm also sycning Outlook with an iPAQ PocketPC.

where can i find info on how to crack mine?
 
The palm syncs, I said it wouldnt sync my exchange email anymore, all other stuff syncs fine. My ipaq syncs outlook fine. You would think with the popularity of palm, MS would make some accomodations for it in their new products. I can only see Bitmaps in thumbnail preview, all my jpegs are not viewable since I installed XP. On more than 1 system.
 
I dont have any pocket PC's or Palms but Ive been running OutlookXP since the begining of May and its been working fine for me. Outlook is just as fast on my system as 2K was so no problems here.
