have microsoft office standard 07 which was downloaded on my computer 2x and another computer once. My hard drive died and i need to download office on my new hard drive, but office will not download. Is this because the packages says use up to 3 computers. It has only been on 2 computers, but on mine 2x. Help, what do i do to download this on my computer. Thanks
 
Folks, this has been resolved. My wife is trying to get a handle on fixing her computer herself and after I replaced her old. dead hard drive has been trying to restore everything as was before - I let her use my Anandtech access so she could get answers to her questions from the best. She doesn't yet know quite how to ask a question when the answer seems obvious from the question😀

Anyway - she finally called Microsoft itself and explained the situation - and they walked her through overiding the program's 3 machine lockout. She finally accepted my explanation that installing it on my computer, the church computer, and her computer equals three - her getting a new Hard drive makes machine 4.
