I installed office 97 on my computer, running xp pro. Well outlook made itself default email thing so I switched it. Then I deleted because I had used work and that's all I needed it for. Well in the start menu outlook express wasn't there, went and it wasn't default anymore, so I made it default again and when I pressed ok in the outlook express tools it went back to not being default. So I deleted it in add/remove programs and then reinstalled. It's default now and everything but when I go into the start menu properties it doesn't even recognize outlook express on the email tool bar. So why is it doing this? What do I need to do to make it work again? I want the outlook express icon to be in my start menu and to be recognized in xp as being my email service thing. Thanks

Right click on the Start button and go to Properties.

Go to the Start Menu tab and click customize under the Start Menu radio selection.

Under Show on Start Menu, check the E-mail entry.
