Microsoft Office quick question

In excel how do copy an equation from one cell to anther cell or multiple cells? I know it is a stupid question but, I can't freaking remember!!!

Control C

Using the mouse highlight the area you want to insert to or holding down the control key click on the cells you want to insert to

Control V

If the formula is linked the above won't work unless you do a paste special

i don't understand...
what do you mean there's a faster way?
you can always set a macro... to do paste special
but... what method are you talking about?

as for me... i prefer keystrokes over mouse.
it always seems faster for me.

(maybe... this is why i suck at cs.)
