They said beginning today, Dec 1st, as long as the University/College that licenses Office 365 ProPlus or Office Professional Plus for their staff/faculty, their students will be able to get it for free.

How exactly do I go about getting started? I couldn't find much info on Microsoft's website or their Office website.

i'd have thought there would be a link on the college/university intranet with the detail. thats how its worked in my workplace in the past at least.

iirc it went something like send MS a mail from your work (college/university) account and they mail you back. Or it might've been along the lines of place an order with your work details on the MS order page.

Like I say there'll be details somewhere easy to find

Went to Microsoft/Download-Office and typed in the search criteria :colbert:
Took less time than to read the OP twice. :p
