Microsoft Office 2016 update button missing

MS Office 2016 Pro Plus edition.

The problem is that on File -> Account page the update buttons/options are not present below the "About" button.

Should be like this:


But all I see is this:


please help. do I need reg hack etc?
 
It depends on the version that is installed.

Click To Run - if installed in this fashion it will have that option

Traditional - if installed from the normal iso install, then this option will not be there and you have to use Windows Updates to do all the office updates as well

It will also depend on what licensing you have too.
