The only reason I ask is because I want to install it on my laptop and my desktop computer, and I was briefly reading through the EULA and came across the following section:

1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Microsoft grants you the following rights provided that you comply with all terms and
conditions of this EULA:
1.1 Installation and use. You may:
(a) install and use a copy of the Software on one personal computer or other device; and
(b) install an additional copy of the Software on a second, portable device for the exclusive use of the primary user of the first copy of the Software.

Am I reading that correctly? Let me know. Thanks

Yes, you can (at least with office XP). However, you may need to call in to register the second computer, do to the lame computerized activation system.

If that's straight from the EULA, then looks good to me.

the only catch is that anyone can use Office on your main computer, but only you personally can use it on the notebook.
