The released version will be available to download 10-1 for MSDN subscribers. :) The volume licensing media is expected to ship mid October.

Thanks! I am not excited, I am just curious, We get it as part of our Enterprise agreement, so i will see it soon enough when I download it form Microsoft.
I was just curious if anyone using it thought it was any better or worse.

Big thing I'm looking for is the ability to hit my Exchange server natively (no POP, IMAP, etc.) over the Internet with Outlook 2003 without having to use VPN or OWA.

I bought that beta package and it seemed OK. It was really buggy though. Hopefully they've managed to get all the bugs out by now. Well not all but most of it. I HOPE!

I have been using it since I got my MSDN Universal Subscription. I have used it from Beta 2 and then the Beta 2 Technical Refresh. I personally prefer it over Office 2000 and Office XP.

The new OUTLOOK is incredible. HUGE improvement over Outlook XP that came out a few years ago.
Anyone agree?

It is pretty decent. Info path with Outlook 2003 is cool. Has that liuid-candy Windows XP look and feel to it.

Can you explain what "Info Path" is?
Thanks

Here are my gripes with the junk mail filter in the new outlook.

1) You can't highlight multiple emails, right click, and assign them all to junk mail. It has to be done 1 by 1, pain.
2) Doesn't seem to filter/move them to a junk mail folder when using IMAP over POP incoming mail servers.

Anyone else notice this?
Guess I have to go back to using mailwasher to scan incoming mail first <sigh>

Just another update to all those MSDN Universal subscribers, most of the Office Systems 2003 Apps are available to download for us. I downloaded all the available one's last night from Microsoft. I haven't installed them yet though, because I need to format my comp, and the Beta's running fine now. I'll prolly be formatting early October after all the apps are ready.

I've been using Outlook XP to read my Hotmail. Does anyone know if the new Outlook has this feature?

I know this question wasn't directed at me, but I am very happy with it. It is very good at the default settings, and you can only make it better from there. Since I installed Outlook 2003, I don't think one piece of spam has gotten into my inbox.
