Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser 6000

So I gave this mouse the in-store test the other day, and it feels GREAT. Im so happy that MS as finally done some additional research into mouse shape.

Unfortunately, MS always seems to lag behind in terms of wireless. I didnt get to use the mouse while it was plugged in. Does anyone know if it "lags" like the older MS wireless mice? I cant deal with that at all, so lately I've had to use logitech mice (MX1000 ftw)

If this mouse came in a wired form, I'd be all over it. Does anyone know if the wireless has the same lag as older MS wireless mice?

I read about this mouse online, and (maybe it was all just psychological) started to feel pains in my right forearm/wrist, so decided to give it a shot. I bought it from newegg, and I plugged it in to try it out. Got to use it for about 1hr (felt awkward at first, but I was kind of getting the hang of it), and the thing just decides to die! First of all, you're right Minotaar about Microsoft's wireless tech. They're still using that huge wireless receiver (that itself is the size of a mouse) that they used for their older wireless mice years ago. And the range is kind of bad (3-5ft?). Anyways, mine just stopped working, I tried plugging into all my PC's USB ports, tried restarting the connection between the receiver and the mouse, new batteries, and tried using it on 3 other PCs, and the mouse just doesn't respond. I personally hate wireless mice, but this "natural" feature made me buy this (hey, if it helps prevent carpal tunnel for me, well worth the $$), but I wish it came in a wired version. It's sent in for RMA now.

Im sorry you had such a bad experience. they arent normally so bad!

The logitech MX1000 will treat you well, but I think this new MS mouse has the shape to go for. Too bad they didnt update their wireless tech.
