I bought this a couple of years ago for $60. At first it is very very hard to type with, but you'll grow to love it. It even impoves your typing over time.

I had one and it just died today after 3 years. Can't live without it now. Until it comes in i'm using a cheapo one from wally world

Since it says "on sale" i don't know if its the "every day low price" and if you factor in shipping the one i posted is still cheaper. Shipping to where i live ins 8.85 so it ends up being 32.34 and that is for UPS Ground rather than UPS 3 day for cheifvalue. Also the one i listed come with all the normal stuff your keyboard should come with like a manual and a disk. The one at directron does not. If i remember correctly also i have ordered this type of keyboard from newegg/chiefvalue before and it does come in the normal retail box. So i think its still a good deal especially since its coming from chiefvalue/newegg.

The 7000 series you listed above is essentially the same thing but with a mouse. I wouldn't pay over $30 more for a mouse. I can find them cheaper.

These are pretty nice. I've used a few ergonomic keyboards, and this is definitely my favorite. It's got a standard Insert/Delete/Home/End/PageUp/PageDown keys and a full number pad. It's also got a bunch of strange buttons, including zoom, back/forward, "web"/search/mail and favorites buttons. I can't really comment on those, because I don't use them.

I'm just pointing some things out. It says "on sale" at directron but every time I've looked over there when I think my keyboard is dying it's always the same price. Shipping might be cheaper at Chiefvalue, and that's always appreciated.

Chiefvalue lists the same part number and as OEM. Strong possibility you don't get the manual and disc, but you'd have to ask/find out when it gets there.

Retail version:

dbk wanted wireless, I let him know that there was a wireless version out there, but comes bundled with a mouse.

Don't get your panties in a bunch.
