Microsoft loopback adapter ???

I have 2 network adapters in my computer but WinXP did not find nothing. I can install only Microsoft loopback adapter. What is that??? Will my computer work in network with that? 😕😕
 
Nope.

It is a dummy adapter.
Handy if you want to install a network protocol when you haven't got a real adapter.
