I got a Microsoft Natural Pro Keyboard. I plugged in and installed the software, everything waas fine. Then I realise I can't use half the special keys so I go and update the keyboard driver to actually be the appropriate one for my keyboard. Now no keyboard works (nor mouse). While booting I can use the keyboard but not when I get to log on screen. Using safe mode or last good profile doesn't help at all. Is their anyway of recovering?

Probably should have uninstalled the first (wrong) driver before "updating". Uninstall, shutdown, put new keyboard on, bootup and let it install from the correct setup disk.

you probably shouldnt have thrown the keyboard at your windows.

</me pauses for laughter, notices there is none and goes back to work>

I had to reinstall Win2k, its apparently a known problem with the keyboard and Win2k. Very impressive. Microsoft kb are known to destroy win2k setups.
