No more game will be release. So much for my $199.99 xbox!

Your reasons are wrong. Microsoft is converting to *nix, and doesn't have the skill required to port their XBOX to a *nix core, so they're going to dump it in favor of the GNUbox...a radical new design that flows from the die hard days of the Atari and C64 mantras.
