Microsoft introduces oPhone

Okay, so it's a prank they're pulling on the Apple iPhone, aka Microsoft making fun of themselves

I thought it was fairly funny. It's typical of Microsoft, and considering that they're making fun of themselves in the video I don't see how it makes them look horrible.

I should have put that instead of "horrible", I meant to say they were making fun of themselves

I particularly liked the programmer lead explaining how "easy" it was to program the phone 😉

atleast spell it right from the article. it's oFone. good to see MS making parodies.

I figured more people would get the "iPhone" reference if I spelled it "oPhone" rather than "oFone".

Hilarious and kind of a pun on apple marketing / steve job keynote stuff ("we're making the greatest awesomest thing anyone has ever seen... this will save humanity")

Excellent! 😀

And the reaction by the Apple fanboys on Engadget is even funnier. 🙂

Yeah that was pretty funny. Even funnier was that there was one of those stupid Mac ads with the two guys representing the two platforms, on the same page. The fact that Apple is actually serious with that ad campaign, and helped pay to host that ofone video is amusing to me.

One of these days I'm going to start dropping deuces in boxes, calling it iSh!t and charging $200 apiece. I'll be rich.

I think I'm going to register the names 'aPhone', 'ePhone', 'uPhone' and 'sometimes_yPhone'. I'll be rich!
