Hi all,
I recently put together a new computer. Everything is working great, very stable, except for some wierd control problems in Counter-strike.
If I push and hold several keys at once (i.e. walking/crouching/strafing/moving forward) a control will get "stuck". I will continue moving forward or left even when I release the buttons.
Also, sometimes pushing the reload button doesn't work but every time I fire, I reload.
I use the keypad for my controls (kp_7 and kp_9 are strafe, kp_8 and kp_2 are forward/back, kp_4 and kp_6 are turn left/right, kp_1 and kp_3 are pistol/main gun, kp_ins is reload, kp_del is duck, kp_enter is jump, kp_+ is walk, kp_- is knife, kp_* is grenade, kp_/ is use). System specs are below.
Ending the speedkey application doesn't seem to help.
Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro (USB/PS2 Latest driver)
Microsoft Intellimouse with Intellieye (USB Latest driver)
ASUS CUSL2
Pentium III 1Ghz
256 MB CAS2 RAM
Radeon 64 DDR VIVO
Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1
IBM 75GXP 30GB
105-S 16X DVD-ROM
3COM 905-C Network Card
Cable Modem (AT&T formerly Mediaone)
Please help,
Mark.
