You can buy it for $49.99 at Staples.

1. Go to Staples B&M, and ask for a pricematch with Best Buy.
2. If you are lucky enough to have one of the $10 off $40 coupons in your email box, apply that after adding something to get you over $40.
3. There is a $10 rebate available here.

You end up getting this....

Intellimouse Optical $39.99 + tax
Coupon -$10
MIR -$10
Total $19.99 + tax after coupon and MIR. This seems to be a pretty good deal for a great retail optical mouse.

Are you sure they are the IntelliMouse Optical? Someone was selling something yesterday for around $20 each and calling it the IntelliMouse Optical but it was not the real IO model.

Yeah a guy at Fat Wallet sells them, he cut me a deal because I needed 8. I have ordered from him before and yes they are the Intellimouse Opticals. Retail boxed. $20 with a rebate is a great deal for an awesome mouse.

Yes that is a great price for a great mouse. I have it at work and at home. I love that it works equally well left handed or right handed.
