But not in Windows. I've hooked it up to the USB port, it works in dos (with my Epox K73A motherboard setting of USB compatibility) but as soon as I get into windows it becomes an 'unkown USB device' and doesn't even prompt me for the drivers. I've tried installing the software that comes with it - that doesn't work. I've tried moving USB ports, but no luck either. And I can't force it to accept the bundled drivers for the mouse. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks a lot!

try booting up w/out the usb mouse plugged in, then plug it in while windows is up and operational. see if it prompts you for drivers . have you installed intellipoint 3.2?

I had the same problems. I came to teh conclusion that my mouse was bad, because it only started acting up when i pumped my fsb up to 160mhz
