logitech all the way... i've had 3 straight ms ie mice bust on me. got so annoyed i ebayed the last replacement they sent me and used the money for a logitech, and have been happy ever since.

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 it is a real improvement over the earlier versions IMO. I prefer it over the Logitech Dual Optical slightly

I just received my Logitech Dual Optical today from ThinkGeek. My previous mouse was a Logitech WebWheel Optical, which was much smaller. I'm a huge Counter-Strike/Q3/Urban Terror/RTCW guy... immediatly I found it harder to play FPS games since the mouse was bigger, I'm beginning to realize even though I have huge hands this mouse is a little weird. I'm getting used to it, though.

It's much better as far as precision goes over my old laser mouse. Overall I wish I didn't make the switch, it's a little uncomfortable for FPS gaming, but in my opinion, the Microsoft mice are much worse (the Explorer / bigger MS mice are really crappy for FPS gaming, IMHO.. but we all have our own personal preferences, right.. do don't flame me!)

I've now Logitech
I've been very happy with my serial ms mouse and my USB ms intellieye. The cable of the intellyeye broke eventually after 2 years of heavy use and so I needed a new one. I tried the cordless mouse explorer and went for rma the next day. It was laggy and produced some random motions when moved fast. Maybe that could also been a driver issue, but the mouse produced some high pitched sound, too 😱. I really hated it. I will not want to try another one with a radio connection. Then, I took a logitech, not with two optical sensors, but already one with this double dpi feature. It's good. It fits perfectly in a small hand. I like it as much as my old intellyeye.

I just got my dual optical yesterday. I can "flick" the mouse it games with no skipping, my old microsoft intellimouse optical coulden't(used the original sensor). The Explorer 3.0 can also do this though.

It's a nice mouse, the pads on the bottom are nicer than the ones on my Microsoft mouse, so the mouse is a bit smoother. Overall a nice mouse.
