Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and ps2 rate?

Question for those of you using this badass new optical mouse from microsoft. Has anyone successfully gotten a ps2rate of 200 with this mouse in windows 2000? In windows XP, I can set it to 200 using the drivers, but it doesn't want to go above 100 in w2k. I tried manually changing some registry settings, but after a reboot they are automatically set back to 100. Help!
