Make sure to read the warning since hotfixes are specific, and they're not fully tested.

Downloading hotfixes from a third party = BAD

As long as they haven't been tampered with, I don't see a problem.

I remember all of the hotfixes have Digital Signatures. Is it possible to tamper with the file and still have the signature valid? That would defeat the purpose of authenticity.
