microsoft hardware software updates support

Why doesnt microsoft ever release any software updates for their hardware? Im tryin to find new updated software for my microsoft wireless broadband router and network card. The current version install on my computer, say somethen like this software has know compability issues with this operating system., Im using windows xp home edition. Come on how can microsoft own software have compability issues with it's own operating system and other software.
 
yeah my mom computer is running sp2. My sister move to my dad house. The other day my dad got dsl, so my sister wants her microsoft broadband wireless router so she can use my dad highspeed internet with her wireless card. . On another note, I just had my second MN-500 wireless router WAN uplink die yesterday. They replaced the first under warranty, but I'm well beyond that point now. I stepped up to a Linksys WRT54G and will look at some custom firmware updates to enable additional functionality.
 
yeah i got the wrt54g one for my home networking setup. it just patheic too see a company that doesnt have their own hardware/software compatialble with their own operationg systems
 
Theres no updates for the microsoft wirless stuff because its JUNK. It has been dicontinued for a long time. I know a couple of people that have them and all I have heard is that they hated them.
