Next step is to actually make a system that doesnt die or destroy discs. This warranty is comforting to people that already have them, but I dont think its going to convince anyone to buy one until fix the disease, not just the symptoms.
Although I dont think theyd actually have gone to such lengths to fix older systems if they didnt plan on revising it so they wouldnt have to pay to fix newer systems. Anything else would just be stupid.
