hey, i bought a ms ergonomic 4000 yesterday and it still feels really weird to me, ppl with this kb, how long did it take to get used to? i'm thinking of returing it and getting the saitek...

dear god, how can you not love it, funny how I'm the one who told you to get it though. Took me about a week, by that time though it prob won't be new enough for you to return.

It's only been 1 day. It should take about 1 week. If you're in a hurry, just start playing "the typing of the damned".

I'm glad they made a new split Ergo, but the keys are little stiff to my liking...but what're you going to do.

I bought the keyboard and yes, the keys are way too stiff for my liking. I like my keys VERY soft, I mean just mushy soft. The keys were pretty stiff. I am wondering though if it goes away with time like if the keys become softer or if it's like a normal keyboard, they'll eventually get harder and harder to press.

I've used Microsoft Ergonomic keyboards for years. Decided to switch back to the regular style keyboard because everytime someone came over they would complain about my keyboard. A year went by and then a month ago I spotted the 4000. Picked it up at Best Buy and haven't been able to get use to it. Something about it is different than other Ergo keyboards from MSFT....maybe it is just the stiff keys. Still getting use to the thing after a week.
