Microsoft Edge on Creators fall update

I just installed Windows 10 16299.15 aka Creators fall update RTM, and after testing out Microsoft Edge, I am highly impressed with this browser compared to previous versions. What's new in the Creators fall update?

Edge HTML16 and independent rendering are the main upgrades. From Microsoft:

Independent rendering allows the browser to selectively offload graphics processing to an additional CPU thread, so they can be rendered with minimal impact to the user interface thread and the overall visible performance characteristics page, such as silk-smooth scrolling, responsive interactions, and fluid animations. This technique was pioneered in Internet Explorer 11, and is key to providing a fluid experience.

I must say these changes are very noticeable. Edge feels much more responsive and quicker now than ever, in both scrolling and page rendering. I highly suggest looking at Edge again with the new Creators fall update if you haven't, you might be surprised 😉
