microsoft down, where to get DX8?

I need to get DX8 or 7

i know, it was on the news and they don't know when it will be fixed.
i reinstalled my windows and i need directx.
i tried download.com but it's linked to microsoft so nothing.
MSN, hotmail, www.microsoft.com all dead

Try a recent game CD. That's the way I install it (d*mn 56k connection).

Stay with DX7, there's no benefit in movig to 8 at this time and alot of people have had problem with it.

Yeah, I hear people say they have problems with DX8, I also hear people say the same about DX7.

I've been using DX8 for about a over a month now, and have had no problems at all. Runs great on all my games (UT/Rune D3D).
