Microsoft Defends Policies In Face Of $5B Discrimination Suit.

Deborah Willingham, Microsoft's vice president of human resources, said in a statement that the company had "not had an opportunity to review the specific complaint filed in federal court today, and because it involves personnel matters and litigation, we do not have further comment at this time."

But while declining specific comment on the suit, Microsoft's Willingham defended the company's employment policies and practices, saying it had a "zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination in the workplace. We take any allegations of discrimination very seriously and immediately investigate any concern that is raised."
