Microsoft Consumer CD

In a recent search for some software I stumbled upon products shown as Microsoft Consumer CD's. A great deal cheaper than the retail version. Am I correct that this is just the CD without any documentation? Any comments on purchasing this type of CD assuming I am willing to go through a learning curve?

Sounds like they are pirated. Microsoft doesn't provide much documentation with their retail products anyways (not much more than how to insert the CD & let autorun run). Could we possibly see the website you're talking about for a more informed answer?
