Microsoft.com down?

I tried to go to the windows update site and it was down. The I tried microsoft.com and it was down. anyone else see the same?

I just got through. Maybe my cabnle is acting up. I tried it 4 or 5 times. Oh well, thanks.

Down for me. I just did a build and was just starting the critical updates. Stopped in the middle of them about 20 minutes ago and has been unreachable for me since then.

I need to get directX 8.1 before I install another program and it won't cooperate.

Works here. Check your automatic windows update settings as well as turn off any proxy programs.

Seems like everything that MS hosts is now down...got booted from AC2 and cannot get to any site that I know of hosted by them.
