Microsoft C++ DLLs and Direct X updates

Why do I constantly have to install them onto Windows 7 64 bit when trying so many new game demos on Steam ? I already have it installed. Happen with Dirt 2 demo but after completely everything it wouldn't even launch the game so just forgot about it. Is there anyway to stop games/steam from automatically installing Microsoft C++ DLLs and Direct X updates if you already have the latest version ? I don't need to download and install it again over and over. Annoying and a waste of time. This should be optional.

Thanks I found a work around so I don't have the annoying install Microsoft C++ DLLs and Direct X updates ever again when installing steam games!
