the plastic sliders at the bottom come already somewhat worn out, as if they were already used before, twice in a damn row

I use one for about 1-2 weeks. and then my new Blue starts to crap out on me, the thing gets warn out too quickly, and it's hard to scroll, that sucks!

I like the new mice, but I can't adjust the DPI, no matter what, it's just not the koolest thing in the world!

does anyone have a low profile mouse with extreme quality?

I haven't bought a Microsoft mouse since several years ago.

I sent a counterfeit Intellimouse to their legal dept and when we were talking, the Microsoft rep told me they had a 15% return rate! (unnacceptable)

At the time they were the "premium" mouse.
I started using Mitsumi's, well that is, until Logitech started dominating.

I've been using an M$ Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 for years and haven't had any problems. Battery life is good (usually about 6-ish months w/moderate use), it's very sturdy (has been dropped onto a concrete floor on a few occasions, didn't phase it), and it only cost like $30.
