Ok, so I made the mistake of downloading the newest MS update last night. This morning I turn on my computer to see that stupid screen! I DONT CARE!!! How do I disable that annoying nag screen or get rid of the update that I just performed last night!? I am fully aware that this is in the wrong forum, I'm just getting aggravated and the operating systems forum is much slower than this one.

buy a legal copy of Windows.

I am fully aware of that option Zugzwang152. However, I did not install windows on this computer, another person did, so I am not responsible for having an illegal copy.

ROFLMAO!

Sorry Sir, if it's your computer, you are fully responsible for it's contents and if they are legal...if you can't get past the MS genuine advantage check, your copy is not legal...go call Microsoft or buy a new one 😉

If this is true... and you call Microsoft and explain the situation. Sometimes they will give you a discount on buying a legit version. Obviously, you'll have to tell them how you came about to acquire your current copy.
