I'm not very confident about the April release, either. It was originally Sept '04, then Nov '04, then Dec '04, then Feb '05, and now April '05. It seems they are trying to keep up with GT4.

Of course, I'm still buying it. It's one of the few games I will end up paying full price for.

Welp, this game will probably trump GT4 even with their insane amount of cars... why? Online play, Rice and Damage models.

I played the demo already, I have to say its a very good game. With all the newbie things like traction and acceleration control off, steering and corning become very difficult. Especially the american and le mans cars like hte r8. I have hte tendency to floor it and burn out too much. Steering wiht eh controller is very hard, as it is easy to over or understeer.

If they release a steering wheel similar to the new gran turismo one, this game would be perfect.

can you sorta give us a comparison or how this game relates to other racing titles out there? Like is this a hardcore sim, Gran Turismo competitor (as it sounds to be) or is there some arcade stuff mixed in there as well. This was the first time i've heard of this game.

Actually this game looks less arcade than Gran Turismo. Hitting a wall at 200 MPH is going to damage your car, instead of bouncing off of it ala the GT series.

I've played the japanese gran turismo demo WITH the new steering wheeling and hte controller, and yes forza is more real, not much, but noticable when all the driving assistance is turned off in both games. Only reason I would get GT is because of the crazy steering wheel, but if MS came out with one for forza, i'll definitely go for forza.
 
If they did make it for the PC....just think what they could do with it. Better graphics are avail to them....a slew of Wheels are out for the PC....There could be a utility to allow users to make their own cars/tracks....etc.

yea but i think companies are afraid that too much pirating is going to go on the PC platform. regardless, i really wish they'd make this for the PC!! i'd buy it in a heartbeat (its easier for me to buy than to try and find a warez)
