Microsoft ACCESS program got sloooooowwww

Okay.....so a pretty savy co-worker develops this Microsoft Access program that runs local on the p/c but looks at a remote access .mdb file on a shared folder on the server.

We have it on a Windows 2000 server, and more recently put onto a new Windows 2003 server.

Well......it definitely runs faster when pointing the p/c at the 2000 box (???) thinking that maybe because it was originally created on 2000, and then saved a copy to 2003, that there are database structure issues....or the basic system overhead in 2003 slows down the processing of the queries?

Note: They both return results...but one takes 30 seconds and the other 8 minutes!
