MicroSD to full sized SD adapter

So I bought a 1GB MicroSD and it comes with the full sized SD adapter. What if I lose this adapter or I want an extra one at work? Seriously you can't buy these things unless you want to buy a 50 pack for $45 from CDW. Rip off.

yay for yet another memory format. SD--MiniSD--MicroSD... what next... nanoSD? I'm sick of these new formats.I just bought a new sony ericcson phone. My 2gb duo card from my old one wont work cuz the new phone has Memory Stick Micro. It's all a gimick to keep you buying more stuff you dont need.

I honestly cannot believe how they can fit 1 GB of data on a tiny piece of plastic like the MicroSD. It is so friggin small and weighs about as much as a piece of paper. It blows my feeble mind.

Haha... those things feel like a piece of potato chip or something. You could literally lose them in a carpet.

Yes, what we need is one standard for everything. How do we choose that? Lowest common denominator?

Ohh yes, lets choose that. That way everything can only have 1GB that is currently available in MicroSD, no 4GB compact flash or anything.

Great idea sparky. How about lets settle on regular SD, which means we can't fit it into phones unless they are larger and sacrifice other features to keep to one standard.

I find it amusing that you complain about this, yet you have a phone made by Sony which is notorious for using proprietary formats.
