MicroSD card + converter in 4/3s camera

So in spite of the other thread I just created I went and got a Lumix GF3.

What I'm wondering is if there'd be any disadvantages of using a microSD card + converter in there, because what I'd like is the ability to put the microSD card into my Galaxy S3 and be able to email/upload if I really want to post it.

Are there any speed/writing concerns with it?

i wanted microSD also so i can use in camcorder as well as in phones.
however, my camcorder refused to take the microSD insider the adapter due to speed.
even though both big SD and micro SD card are class4. the big SD card class4 was working fine and the camcorder didnt mind

Speed will be your biggest limitation, but seriously SD memory is cheap even at uber speeds...why cripple yourself to share one card?

Sometimes it's easier to just stick in the sd card, no need to bring usb -> microusb cables around and stuff.
The op probably plans on taking pics (maybe without even bringing a camera bag), and using his phone (while out and about) to send the pictures to someone/somewhere. Cables can get messy/tangled, are kind of bulky in pockets, and add another thing to bring

class 4 is slower than molasses in minnesota in january. it's very possible that despite both being labeled 'class 4,' one blew significantly by that standard while another barely met it.

it's not about 'sharing one card,' it's about being able to instantly upload things you took on a real camera via your cell phone.

have you considered EyeFi? specifically, EyeFi's direct connect process, where the EyeFi creates an ad-hoc connection that connects directly to your phone's wifi (both android and ios)
