Microphone

Hey guys.

On my computer, everything is now working perfectly after I installed all the driver's off the motherboard, except for one thing.

When I plug into my microphone jacks, there is no input. Is there a specific driver for the

N4L-VM DH

board for microphone inputs, or am I just so ignorant I don't know whats going on?

As far as I can tell, the microphone jacks in the front and the back are not live. Anyone have the same board and know how to "activate" it, or just to make it work?

Did you enable audio in the BIOS? There should be audio drivers for the motherboard too.

You also need to select the recording device in volume properties

Sometimes the mic input is muted by default in the sound properties.

Heh, thankfully I'm not too ignorant as to not check my little sound icon in the corner and dink around in the "advanced" section of that, everything seems to be unmuted and on.

I will double-check when i get home from work today, but you guys think of any other cause for my mic jacks seemingly not being "live"?
