Microphone Problem

Hey guys.

On my computer, everything is now working perfectly after I installed all the driver's off the motherboard, except for one thing.

When I plug into my microphone jacks, there is no input. Is there a specific driver for the

N4L-VM DH

board for microphone inputs, or am I just so ignorant I don't know whats going on?

As far as I can tell, the microphone jacks in the front and the back are not live. Anyone have the same board and know how to "activate" it, or just to make it work?

Hi, Did that mike ever work on that Sound Card? There are many different types and empedances of Mike. If it never worked then try to find out what type of mike is recommended for your card. Try the manufacturer's site.

Aren't plug-and-play microphones exactly what they are, you plug them in and use them?

There's just nothing coming through.

As I already said in that thread you need to go into volume properties and select the microphone as your recording device.
