Microphone jack / headphone pins -> soundcard?

I'm building a box with an Audigy 2 ZS. The case has a microphone and headphone jack in the front with wires that (supposedly) connect to pins. The pins exist on the motherboard, but I'm using an Audigy 2 ZS. Should I plug the wires onto any of the pins of the soundcard (none of them look like they'd work)?
