Microphone and Headset

Yea, I still dunno what to get yet. I have a MS Sidewinder Headset, but the wire is comin through the lead so I doubt it had much time left.

1.) I want to know what is the best mic to get these days?

2.) What is the best headset to get as well?

Can you include WHY you chose whatever ya recommended and don't worry about money of the product, just seein what is the best product out there.

I recommend the sennheiser pc-150 headset, its 35-50 dollars and works well. Microphone is good (they advertise it as a noise reduction mic to reduce background noise) and the headset itself is pretty comfortable. It started out a little tight for my head but I've worn it in a bit and now its fine. Only complaint is that they use thin gauge wire so you have to be careful about tripping over it and damaging the wire
