Obviously the PC133 will perform better. Why is it cheaper? The gods must be smiling upon you or something. Don't ask questions, just take it while you can.

100Mhz Cas2 operates SLIGHTLY (VERY SLIGHTLY) faster then PC133, BUT running at 133Mhz gives better performance (go figure).

Doesnt it depend on the speed of the chip also ? If you have a PC100 @ 6ns hehehe

PC 100 @ 8ns x cas 3 = 24 ns
PC 100 @ 8ns x cas 2 = 16ns

PC 133 @ 7.5ns x cas 3 = 22.5 ns
PC 133 @ 7ns x cas 2 = 14 ns

forcesho, You don't need 8ns chips to be PC-100 you only need 10ns chips
1000/10=100Mhz
1000/8=125Mhz
1000/7.5=133.33_

But the point you raise is a good one; a buyer should look less at the PC ratting, and more at the speed of the chips and their relative performance.

The Micron PC133 is more likely be overclocked to CAS2 than some generic PC133. Is that true?

Office Boy how are they doing in your set up?

Cuz I am doing the same set up, just waiting for the T-Bird800, 256 of these RAM, and the Antecsx803 case.
Got the Asus A7V yesterday.

Geeez Heng...by the time this thread fizzles out, you should make it to senior member without saying one intelligent thing. All of the questions you have asked are easily answered with just a smidgen of reasearch on your part.
