Got second stick of memory from Coast to Coast Memory, same generic junk as first time...I ordered Micron CAS-2. Called and talked to Sales MANAGER and he said there was no notation of Micron required on original order, and I verified 3X with salesman that it was Micron CAS-2 I was ordering. He said he can either refund or send me the Micron at his cost ($325, $55 more than I have already paid). So I get screwed for month delay (ordered June 16) and rising RAM prices?

DO I HAVE ANY RECOURSE?
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Thanks in advance,

Ronstang

sometimes generic ram isint all that bad. did you try it out? if it performes like you want it to, then maby u should just forget about them, sounds like they arent gonna be shipping any micron sticks any time soon. OR next time you call, take the names of whoever you are talking to, they will useually make shure they send you the right stuff when you do that, and if they dont you got someone to blame it on.

I can't try it out yet since I don't have the rest of my components yet, waiting to get RAM before I buy anyting else. I have all their names but it doesn't seemto matter to them. I get passed from one person to next, still with no solution.

You should ask for a full refund since it is NOT what you ordered. You should then give them a negative review at http://www.resellerratings.com and let it be a lesson learned about what interenet mail order company NOT to do business with in the future. Did you order a 256MB stick of PC133?

Order directly from Crucial, Memman....or from me. :)
