micron and it's lifetime warranty

there wasn't a memory section, so i posted it here... micron supposedly has a lifetime warranty, but where do i go to replace my ram? who honors that warranty? i can't find anything on the micron or micronpc site... thanks.
 
no, i bought micron ram through another distributor... is it the manufacturer that supports the lifetime warranty or the dealer?
