Microdrive or CF card for new DSLR?

Getting a new Nikon D70 soon and was wondering if i should get a 1gb Microdrive, 1gb 40x or 80x CF?

40x CF should be good enough. I'm not sure if the D70 can even go up to 80x speeds. As long as you're faster than microdrive you'll be fine.

what types of pics will you be taking? I would be worried if you are moving the camera around and it has a microdrive in it.

I have a microdrive and I'm always nervous that it will break.

I think a microdrive drains more battery that CF cards does.

I use a 4gb Hitachi MD with my 20D 🙂 works great!

Microdrives are slower then the CF cards, with the D70 it's possible it shot up to 3 Frames per second if save as jpg.
